Day One: All things in Threes

Scene One: Parking Lot Pimpin
The forces slowly assembled at 11:30 this morning, and chaos immediately ruled. Three Susans? How could the group possibly communicate with so many people with the same name? I knew immediately that this was going to be a tough group to get along with.
The second of our trifecta of challenges was the fact that there are eleven people, with their own menagerie of personal effects, and only two vehicles to transport both the people and their worldly belongings from UVA to KY. Luckily several of us had achieved Expert status in Tetris at a young age, and our shape-fitting skills had not been dimmed by time. The final test came when one of the Susan triplets was hit with a hankering for prescription medication. Luckily she had a stash nearby and she got her fill.

Scene Two: Grand Caravan
I'm not sure what the scene was in the other car, but in the Caravan the sexual tension was palpable. There was one man to defend his sex against the vitriol of five females, and the siege was intense. Six hours later, the battle of the sexes was won. I won't divulge the victorious sex, to protect his safety. There were also some unflattering pictures taken of drool-soaked, napping trip participants. Pictures to be posted soon.
Once we arrived in Prestonburg, Mapquest led us astray. Hilarity ensued.

Scene Three: Hunger Strike
We armed two noble volunteers with a list of appropriations and a wad of cash to obtain the needed items and sent them off into the night. While they were gone, we ordered pizza, talked about our pasts and ate to the memory of our missing comrades. Four hours later, they are apparently still at Walmart, or they have taken our money and ran to Mexico for cheap tequila and more prescription medicine. Since toilet paper is one of the things they need to obtain, pray that they will come home soon. If you see them on the highway to Juarez, tell them to come back: we've saved them a slice of pizza.
